Got this big mother fucking slab of 4-sided 45 rpm vinyl yesterday. ( I didn't realise it was 45 rpm at first until it went all zombie on me!).
Once the speed was sorted out the majesty of this highly undervalued "pop" record unfolded.
I listened to this on CD back in September so I'm not going to tell you that it sounds even better. (It does!)
I was wondering however, given my initial faux pas, why there are more and more 45 rpm vinyl pressings being produced. Apparently the sound is better than 33 rpm? So I asked Google.
