The Young Gods are most definitely up there as one of the most influential bands I have ever "experienced".
Their 1987 album "The Young Gods" completely fucked up my musical horizon and their next record "L'eau Rouge" did an even better job.
In those days they just played samples. No guitars but they played the biggest, meanest, motherfucking riffs (outside of Black Sabbath) I had ever heard.
The fact they were Swiss and spoke no English meant diddly squat.
One of my very special secret treasures.
